UPDATES on "Questions Regarding the Assassination of Charlie Kirk"
Why carry gun off the roof, a safe place presumably for an assassin to stash it? CRITICAL UPDATES on 2025-09-13 to such questions
A few question bubbled up in my mind today. We continue to live out a moving storyline from Kennedy through until now. It is becoming passé now to point out that the proper lens of analysis now involves Left versus Right in a very subordinate and instrumental way.
[2025-09-13] Here is a video discussion that may address and counter, at least some of, the questions that I raised in this article:
Clayton Morris interviews Kyle Seraphin
First, [John Leake of Courageous Discourse], has also asked why someone would—if he used the roof of the Losee Building as a killer’s perch—risk carrying his cumbersome rifle back down to the ground (whether fleeing inside or outside the building) and then escape into the woods, risking possible detection en route crossing an open space—only to abandon it later in those woods?
[2025-09-13, despite Mr. Seraphin’s assessment, the above is still a pertinent question, unless we attribute this course of action to the ill-formed rationality and foresight of a 22 year-old, however bright.
[Added 01:53 a.m., 2025-09-12: Do you see a gun likely concealed in what presumably is a jacket or other cloth object? I have not yet convinced myself that I imagine such a concealment.]
[2025-09-13] Here,
Judge Napolitano interrogates Larry C. Johnson
whether the video of the suspect’s escape from the roof could be interpreted as showing evidence of a concealed weapon. [Mr. Johnson’s answer was, “Yes,” but I maintain doubts whether this was in fact the case.]
Second, in the time that it took to return from the roof, were there not plenty of panicked and fleeing audience members and happenstance bystanders running and seeking safety all around the building which was between the venue site and the parking lot? (Again, the gun-in-hand question arises.) Did no one remember this person even by chance?
[2025-09-13] The video answers this above question in the negative. Specifically, no, there were clearly not many people at the time of the suspect’s dropping from the roof. It is not likely that there would have been any communication of the fact of the assassination to people in cars in the short period of time. Nonetheless, I would not expect a more professional sniper to risk the visibility of dropping from a roof which we are beginning to surmise now that the suspect was not.
Third, could a presumptive shooter have acted with strategically-paradoxical behavior and have hidden himself (perhaps with assistance) in the Losee or other nearby building?
[2025-09-13] The above question is mostly moot; however, the possibility of confederate assistance still needs to be ruled out.
Fourth, in an aerial-view map, I saw a building in near proximity to the Losee Building labelled the LGBTQ+ Center for Inter-cultural Engagement?1 It was reported, however, that this center was recently closed2 3 With so much talk of speculated connections (justified or not) of people in the “trans” category being prompted to violence, what might the significance of this the presence of this building? At least I would expect someone to comment on this topic in an effort to rule out false assumptions by the public regarding any possible “trans” motivations. Is this campus heavily populated with “trans” identifiers or activists? By the way, I am not at all saying that this issue is involved in the shooting of Mr. Kirk, nor do I have even have a reserved or strong opinion at this moment whether these notions are connected to this shooting. There are other hypotheses to be sure, and these details may be being used as tempting red herrings in our politically-charged national environment. Right now, I am focused on the who and how “dunnit.”
[2025-09-13] There seems even less reason now to entertain a conspiratorial or a lone-actor explanation involving the “trans” sub-culture at this institution. This perspective could be revised if, for example, it were to be discovered that there was a significant, generalized anger circulating over the closing of this LGBTQ+ community center and that this, perhaps, fed into the suspect’s greater attitude or sympathies of political resentment.
Fifth, as in the [B]utler, PA shooting event (whatever that was in its full nature), how could this shooter have been reasonably confident that LE, campus guards and private security would not detect him—perhaps with drones?
[2025-09-13] This is still a valid question raising the possibility that the situational and tactical character of other events had been directly scouted or observations had been communicated to the suspect alone, or in a group, via sources in the dark web or by organized, hierarchical intelligence.
Sixth, why were there no drones? Could not permission have been sought by the Turning Point organization?
[2025-09-13] The above and the following two questions remain valid, persistent and prospective questions.
Seventh, couldn’t TPUSA have afforded to hire enough private security to provide the nested rings of protection that we learned about in the Trump-Butler shooting?
[2025-09-13] And lastly, though Mr. Seraphin dismisses the possibility outright with no contradictory evidence, there still remains here say evidence as well as what appears to be Charlie Kirk’s own, expressed concerns regarding the possibility—if not the likelihood—of foreign and domestic threats to his safety for wandering into verboten territories of enquiry.
In an abrupt follow up to the opening sentences above, it can be added that the demon and his accomplices—due to various factors—are intentionally difficult to see (as on that votive candle pictured above), or perhaps some prejudicially preclude that frame of analysis from being added to the forensic, scientific, engineering, behavioral, psychological layers of dissection and reconstruction. It’s a pity. Being a scientist, I understand—but it’s still a pity.
The name Michael, itself reminds us to ask, “Who is like unto God?” That is, who wants to be or who thinks they are, and how do they attempt to emulate omnipotence at the expense of mercy, as needs be in their zero-sum world. [2025-09-13. This is the tuned filter that captures (even for natural processes of discernment) essential features of the pattern.]
[2025-09-13] If the above sounds too mystical for your taste, I will attempt to present the matter differently: there are plenty of humans in this temporal, physical, material order who aspire to the simulacrum of omnipotence, or at least what they belief to be significant portions thereof. They do harm in an indescribably massive way on the way to learning their bitter lesson. In this sense, these people are acting demonically. They need to repent, if they still can, if they have not so bent their souls as to be unable to recognize the mercy extended to them even by God. There is that fearsome slippery slope leading to the “unforgiveable sin.” What is that exactly? The unforgiveable sin is the result of habitual rejection of the love of God—the Holy Spirit if you permit me to use such quaint religious language—to the point that you have altered the relationship of your body & spirit to the degree that the integrated, define whole of you being—your soul—has become averse to salvific love itself. Thus, there is no way to reach you—even by an omnipotent God who can nonetheless not violate your freedom. Your material being, dependent as it is on the spirit, and vice versa, cannot reverse the “fixation.” God Himself cannot violate your freedom because your freedom to choose and act is essential to your being a separate person. Were He to violate that freedom, you would cease to exist, almost as if you had never existed.
If you are at that edge of that awful and dangerous slope, reverse your course while you can still choose. Any person, of any ethnic group, of any nation, in any circumstance, can make a choice for The Good.
[2025-09-13] I was not a close follower of Mr. Kirk’s work and activity. This is partly because, regarding the things that I liked about his TPUSA movement, I and my friends and interlocutors had been thinking and saying from before he was born. Perhaps if it were possible, I might have paid more attention.
Charlie Kirk was graced with the ability and means of expressing ideas on very large scale. But Charlie Kirk was growing intellectually, as hopefully we all do at age 31 as well as at age 71. Not only was he innately talented, but he also had people backing his rise from its inception and running interference for him along the way. Someone decided that the time of those fortunes had run out, be it one person alone via direct action, or a diffuse assortment of powers acting through clever tools and employing things such as manufactured vulnerabilities.
Be vigilant. Recognize threats. St. Michael, defend us . . .
